1. Grab the nearest book of 123 pages or more.
2. Open it to page 123.
3. Find the first 5 sentences and write them down.

ok this is what it says...

Water sloshed onto her hand, and now she sensed that even if the shelf held, the glass would soon tip over.

Imaginations, toots---just the old idea that a sad little Punkin like you can never do anything right.

That wasnt far from the mark---it was certainly to close for comfort---but it wasnt on the mark, not this time. The glass was getting ready to tip over, it really was, and she didn't have the slightest idea of what she could do to prevent that from happening. Why did she have to have such short, stubby, ugly fingers?

The 'L I T T L E' Things .

As you might know, the head of a company survived
9/11 because his son started kindergarten.

Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.

One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.

One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.

One of them
Missed his bus.

One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.

One's
Car wouldn't start.

One went back to
Answer the telephone.

One had a child that dawdled
And didn't get ready as soon as he should have.

One couldn't

The one that struck me was the man

Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
a blister on his foot.

He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.

That is why he is alive today.

Now when I am
Stuck in traffic,
Miss an elevator,
Turned back to answer the telephone...

All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where
God wants me to be at this very moment..

Next time your morning seems to be
Going wrong,

The children are slow getting dressed,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
God is at work watching over you.

May God continue to bless you
With all those annoying little things
And may you remember their possible purpose.

Today, February 4, 2008, at 00:00 GMT (7:00 p.m. New York /EST), NASA will beam the Beatles’ “Across The Universe” to the star Polaris, 431 light years away (that’s 431 years travel at the speed of light before our all-time favorite Beatles song reaches the 2.5 quadrillion miles away star). This is being done to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the song, the 45th anniversary of NASA’s Deep Space Network, an international network of antennas that supports missions to explore the universe, and the 50th anniversary of NASA.

Across the Universe

NASA has invited people around the world to play “Across the Universe” on their audio systems at the same time NASA beams its mp3 version into outer space. The idea was hatched by Beatles’ historian Martin Lewis, who encourages all Beatles fans to play the track as it is being beamed to the distant star. Additionally, this date will be known as “Across the Universe Day”. The event marks the first time a radio song has been beamed into deep space.

Married Couple

A married couple, in their early 60s, was celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary at a quiet, romantic little restaurant.

Suddenly, a tiny beautiful Fairy appeared on their table.

She said: "For being such an exemplary married couple and especially this time, I will grant you each a wish."

"Oh, said the wife, I want to travel around the World with my darling husband" .

The fairy waved her magic wand ; and - poof! - two tickets for the Queen Mary II luxury liner and Ten Thousand Dollars appeared in her hands.

Then it was the husband's turn.

He thought for a minute and said: "Well, this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this will never come again. So I'm going with my mind and not my Heart ".
"I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me."

The wife and the Fairy were shocked and disappointed.

But a wish is a wish.

So, the Fairy waved her magic wand, and -Poof! - the husband became 92 years old.

The Moral of the story:

Men are ungrateful and should remember; Fairies are Female!!!

A New Year is Almost Here!!!

This is gonna b about my New Years Resolutions that will b in a few mins..I had my hair cut over the xmas vacation...lol at least 5inches, just touches my shoulders now...Hubby was not to pleased but I am very stubborn....I always wanted to give my cut hair to "locks of love", but its gets sooo damage over time, they would prolly only get an inch of hair thats decent enuff to work with...when i was growing up mama always kept it cut short, didnt think my hair could grow...but it did...to the middle of my back...for somebody that always wanted the stuff, i had a rude awakening...first, u pull it out when it gets caught under ur arm pits...then when u sit in a chair, and try to raise ur head up...u forget ur back is still on that stuff and it pulls the heck outta it...now mind u, i am not tender headed, far from it..but its still a great big ouchie...lol ok enuff of me ramblin on..

My New Years Resolutions:: I have only 3 and its been the same 3 like forever...guess that means i never keep them, mayb this year .............

1) Quit Smoking.....................Shoulda did this one years ago!!
2) Get Organized...................Now this one is very funny, but I would like to learn how to do it...
3) Make a Budget and Stick with it.........I am an Aries, lol if i want it, somehow i am gonna firgure out a way to get it..

ok, i rethought things, i am just gonna win the lottery in 2008, that way somebody else can keep me organized and i wont have to worry bout a budget, hmmm guess i will have to do the quit smoking thing on my own....

I think these are beautiful....they are made by using laser, kinda like when the took my cataracts off a while back....lol, dont think i could hold my hands that steady to do something like that....it's awesome!!!!!

I have no idea what this blog will b about...just whatever is on my mind the day i post in it...Lots of bloggers have 2, one for their dogs and one for them....I cant paint beautiful paintings like Asta's mommi Ami, and i not to good with the beauty side like Balboa's mom...lol and i sure cant sew like Butchy and Snickers mom can..and i cant take beautiful pictures as Sir Chance's mom ....soooo i will just have to tell u about whats in my heart...i kinda got to much into what i liked instead of letting the blog b mostly about lacy...
